Hello Kitty Scrapbooking Kit

So i went to Michael's today to shop for some arts and crafts ideas for my church's annual Youth Camp.
My cousin's girlfriend Emily spotted the kit and obviously had to point it out.
For those who don't know, I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE Hello Kitty!!!
If I had the money I would buy EVERYTHING Hello Kitty!!
I didn't notice the original price because I was dumb founded by the sale price $17.99
But when it was scanned, the total came up to $14.55!!!!
I was like a child in a candy store, Definitely a great purchase

side note: I almost bought an iPhone just so i could get a cute Hello Kitty case,
good thing my boyfriend was there to stop me haha

The packaging was super cute, very pink, very Hello Kitty.
Here are the things it came with:

15 page scrapbook (oops! forgot to take a picture, it's the part of the upper photo with the biggest Hello Kitty face) Pink, spine border filled with bows!

6 x hello kitty print pages (6 sheets on the right)
1 x Photo Frames & Journaling (1st sheet on the left)
1 x Borders & Corners (2nd sheet from the left)

and it even came with an easy to follow instructions sheet!
i'm so excited, i'm going to go get some pictures developed and start on this scrapbook!!!

Aritzia Sale & I'm a clutz.

So Aritzia is having it's annual Summer Sale.. i'm not sure if it has an actual name but most items are 30-70% off ... It's definitely more towards the 30% off though.. But people (sadly, including myself) still go crazy for it. But luckily I have an amazing boyfriend who feels the need to "pay me back" for the last few months (and that's a story on it's own).. haha, how silly.
I still have a Black strapless Community Dress on lay away, so i'll post up pictures & deets on that when I pay it off

At Aritzia you can put items on Lay Away. Meaning you put a deposit on one (or more) item and it is put on hold for you, while you pay the rest off. The day I put the dress on lay away I finally figured out how much you have to deposit on certain items. For items at regular price you can 20% or more, and for items at sale prices you must put a deposit of 50% or more. After that you get a month to pay off the rest!
ex. My dress came to a total of around $60 dollars, and i had to pay a minimum of $30.
gee, if only I put that much effort in school. haha

I was originally wearing this through out the day today, but before I left for the annual Celebration Of Lights, I changed into a long sleeve shirt and forgot it at my boyfriend's..(oops!) So I'll update once I get it back. Also, I don't remember the original price, so just took a wild guess! =p

I got this top for my birthday this year in black, and i just loved the way it fit! The one thing I didn't like too much about it was the length. I couldn't pull it down all the way comfortably until I started to look even shorter than I am. So when I saw that it was shorter in length and on sale, how could I say no? Once again, I forgot the original price.. but the longer one is somewhere around $35 (on sale for around $32 lol)

Very much like the American Apparel hoodie, in style and fitting.. but a few bucks cheaper =) I was in dire need of a hoodie because i was heading to the theatres.. and this color was one of the originals i saw JUSTIN BIEBER wearing hehe so it was a given that this was the color i'd settle for. Unfortunately I bought it at original price, but I've seen the item on sale for around $42

RIP FOREVER 21 RING!


So I wore this out one day, and decided to take it off and I ended up leaving it in my purse. and for those who know me, you know I like to throw my purse where ever convenient when I get home. So this particular day I decided to throw it at the foot of my bed. And a few days later, I took it out, this was the end result. It must've happened during one of the nights I was sleeping. Who knew i was that beastly of a sleeper? ='(
Anyone got suggestions on how to fix this? My boyfriend suggested pliers but I'm thinking this Forever 21 material is probably on the cheaper side and might break off completely.. *sigh.

And that's my bittersweet post.

first post! why not forever 21? quality's not bad for it's prices!
i bought some online, and the rest in store.

IMO, Online is definitely easier and alot more convenient (if you have a credit card)

PROS:
+Spending $75(CAD)+ gets you free ground shipping (i pooled in my order with a few friends thanks Christine & Joanna!);
+No more lining up to make your purchases;
+It shows you your total cost (including taxes) before you confirm your whole order, which means you can take out items if you've spent more than you prefered;

+No more looking through piles for your perfect size
CONS:
(the only one i can think of, let me know what you think) not being able to try it on. But don't fret, apparently for FOREVER 21 purchases, if it doesn't fit or you're not satisified you can send it back (paying for S&H) or bring it to the nearest store for an exchange or store credit!! (kinda cancels out the con doesn't it? haha)

ps. us British Columbians just recently got the stupid Harmonized Sales Tax (HST) which means a whole 12% =( so the prices i post don't include tax!

and with ALL that said... here's what i got :)


lace is pretty much everywhere you go. And there are a few tops i've been eye'ing. But this one is definitely the best for it's price. $14.50


I don't know why, but i'm just loving these double finger rings (what are they really called?). Seems a little inconvenient since two of your fingers are basically stuck together. $4.80


I love all things with Bows, and this was just WAY too cute! $5.80

i bought a black strapless Community dress at Aritzia recently (well put it on lay away, and it shall be mine by the end of next week) and i thought pink & pearls would be so cute to glam it up with. so this piece was a must $5.80

6 pairs of earrings for less than 5 dollars. need i say more? and i thought the green pair was just too cute! i got this set in Mint it also comes in a pink set.. forgot what it's called but the flower with pearls was gold instead of silver for that set.. which i wanted but i liked the green pair more hehe $4.80 (online)

This one just caught my eye. So much bling, and it doesn't look cheap! I forgot how much this one was though.. something like $6.80 ?? (online)
