beauty in the chaos: Purple Smoky Eye [edited]

I was bored today. decided to try this maybelline palette out.

OKAY! so when i wrote this post, i totally half assed it,

only because i did 3 posts in a row.. -.-

but i guess thats what happens when you dont blog for a long time,

and have a few things to say (deprived much?) =p

anyway! the reason i'm editing this post is because i forgot to mention a few things, being this is my first "tutorial"/"look" post, here are a few things to keep in mind (i'm calling it NIKI'S FACE 101 haha..):

1. i have to take like 300 billion pictures before i get one that even barely satisfies me, so please excuse me if i look super awkward, round, weird, ugly, etc. (try to focus on the look itself)

2. i have VERY uneven eyes - one is ALOT rounder than the other eye, which is also the eye that has a more noticeable double eyelid. IMO, thats why i have to apply my makeup so unevenly (as i have noticed with this look).. if i do it evenly on both eyes, it won't show up on one side more than the other and it will emphasize on how different my eyes are (refer to photo below). So when you guys check out the photos, keep in mind i apply it differently on each eye so the outcome will look the same =p

(this happens very often in pictures i take.. blech)

3. I also have to curl my lashes very awkwardly because of point no.2 and the fact that my lashes are also longer on my rounder eye. so sometimes they are more curled on one eye than the other.. so when applying my mascara, they are also more noticeable on that eye =p
